The 1956 monument was unveiled in April 2017 in honor of the revolution on Heroes' Square. ; At ten o'clock in the morning, after welcoming the guests, those interested proceeded to the local Roman Catholic church dedicated to Saint Margaret of Antioch for a mass. After the mass, the unveiling, consecration and wreath-laying of the 1956 monument followed. "We wanted to erect a monument to the 1956 revolution and András Biliczki, who was evicted from Kismácséd and was shot in Kistarcsa in 1956, in the village's public square," said Ferenc Hontvári, the mayor of Kismácséd. The National Anthem rang out on Heroes' Square, and then the mayor greeted the gathering. A ceremonial speech was given by Kornél Pintér, president of the Hungarian Rural National Organization of 1956. The monument was created by Róbert Smidt, a woodcarver from Szógyén. The Northern Transdanubian Chapter of the Historical Order of Knights, the choir of the Parish Church of the Assumption of Our Lady of Diószeg and the Gyékényes dance group from Kismácséd participated in the inauguration of the monument. After the inauguration, a festive reception was held in the large hall of the fire station, and then Sándor Mayer Ferenc and Gyula Hrala gave a lecture on the events of 1956. The erection of the statue was covered by tender funds.
